Shipping Policy for Samagra

Risk of loss, damage, or delay passes to the buyer once the seller has handed over goods to the courier. Samagra is not a bailee, agent, or carrier.

Welcome to Samagra! We are a platform that helps talented individuals and small businesses sell their wonderful, handcrafted products. This shipping policy explains how shipping works on our marketplace.

1. Who Handles My Shipment?

At Samagra, sellers are responsible for packaging and shipping their own products directly to you. We act as the platform that connects you with these sellers. This means that each seller manages their own shipping process, and the rules below are a general guide for what you can expect.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are determined by the individual seller and depend on several factors:

  • The seller’s location and your delivery address.
  • The weight and size of your order.
  • The shipping method chosen (e.g., standard, express).

The final shipping cost for your order will be clearly displayed during the checkout process before you make your payment.

3. Order Processing & Delivery Time

  • Order Processing Time: This is the time it takes for a seller to prepare your order for shipment. It includes packaging and handing the package over to a courier. This can take anywhere from 1 to 5 business days, depending on the seller and the product.
  • Delivery Time: This is the time the courier takes to deliver your package after the seller has shipped it. This time can vary based on your location and the shipping method. We aim for all orders to be delivered within 5 to 10 business days after they have been shipped.

Please note that these are estimates. Delays can occur due to public holidays, weather conditions, or unforeseen courier issues.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, the seller will update the order with a tracking number. You will receive an email notification with this number so you can track your package’s journey directly on the courier’s website. If you have any trouble with tracking, please contact the seller directly.

5. Multiple Items in an Order

If you purchase items from different sellers in a single order, they will be shipped separately. This means you will receive multiple packages, each with its own tracking number, and they may arrive on different days. You will not be charged extra for this.

6. Damaged or Lost Packages

Sellers must ensure compliance with all packaging, labeling, and shipping regulations under applicable law.
We understand that issues can happen. If your package is damaged upon arrival or gets lost in transit, please follow these steps:

Contact the Seller: The first step is always to contact the seller directly. They can help you resolve the issue, whether that involves a refund, a replacement, or tracking down the package with the courier. You can find the seller’s contact information on the order details page.

Contact Samagra Support: If you are unable to reach a resolution with the seller, please contact Samagra’s customer support. We will do our best to help you and mediate a solution.
